Western Mechanical Solutions

What is the key ingredient of WMS?

“Every WMS team member is passionate about what they do and being the best. We carefully select team members who are passionate about taking care of customers with the products we have carefully chosen to represent so we can harness their energy to provide an excellent customer experience.”

Mike and Brian

Michael Fulton, P.E.

Founded Western Mechanical Solutions in 2007 to focus on a segment of the industry’s best product lines and ensure that customers always come first with the vision to become a model for the industry. Prior to founding WMS, Fulton spent 18 years in HVAC design, sales and sales management and he believes every building is a one-of-a-kind design that requires experience, focus and attention to detail made possible by the professional and dedicated team he and his partner Brian have built over the past 17 years. Their sales and project management team includes seven Professional Engineers, with an average of 17 years of industry experience, and their team of technicians have an average of 12 years of industry experience.

Fulton has a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Maine. Mike is an in-demand, highly sought after expert who serves as a preferred instructor for the Colorado Chapter of the International Code Council. He is actively involved with ASHRAE and served as President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter from 2002 to 2003; he has been involved with the local ASHRAE tech conferences consecutively since 1996, and has served as North Section (Fort Collins) chair since 2008.

Brian Lynch

Joined Western Mechanical Solutions in September 2008, on the day the DOW Jones dropped 777 points (the largest single point drop in history, at that point).  “If you can make it in this economy, you can make it anytime” he was told.  Fortunately, things worked out and he currently serves as Vice President.

Brian has 23 years of experience in equipment sales. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is actively involved with ASHRAE, locally as past president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter (2007-2008) and at the society level on the Standard 55 committee, Government Advocacy, and the High-Performance Building Design Professional certification committee.
